Last weekend, Naomi and I were looking at Anita Ekberg’s photos in wonderment. We were talking about how her iconic figure represents a strong, voluptuous and free woman, a modern goddess. Then next day we found on the news that at the same time that we were talking about her she passed away in Italy. I felt the urge to run to my drawing board!
Sawiki Dreams Out Loud is an illustration project started in 2014 where I’m giving total freedom to my revel child inside -Sawiki- to manifest the kind of world he wants to live in. You can see more pieces from this collection at my website gallery.
